We chose the name "Kibun" to reflect our belief that clothing is more than just fabric and threads—it has the power to transform how we feel and express ourselves. Growing up in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, I was always surrounded by its vivid hues, patterns, and art in every corner. The streets of Rajasthan, always had a story to tell, and every other day was a celebration. Moving to New York, I found a fast-paced world overlooking the beauty of culture and traditions. I started missing this part of India. It's funny but how we take things for granted when its around us. When shopping for clothing, I could never find anything calling me out with a story to tell and anything created sustainably was either too expensive or too plain. Longing to bring a piece of home with me- not just for myself, but for others who valued authenticity, comfort, and artistry without breaking the bank, KIBUN was born—a brand that blends the serenity of handmade Indian textiles with a contemporary, effortless aesthetic, perfect for modern living.

At the heart of Kibun lies the traditional Sanganeri hand-block printing of Jaipur, a centuries-old technique that involves skilled artisans meticulously stamping patterns onto the fabric using carved wooden blocks, resulting in unique and one-of-a-kind designs. The vibrant colors, stunningly intricate motifs, and subtle imperfections add character and charm to each print, making it truly special.
